School Counselors
“The Needham Public Schools has counselors for high
school, middle school, and elementary school students. We
have training in recognizing and helping with a variety of
problems. Students come talk to us when they feel depressed,
upset, anxious, or struggling with social problems. We can
help you through counseling in school or in finding the right
kind of counseling outside of school. Please do not hesitate
to come by to make a time to talk. We can help. |

Needham Community Council
"The Needham Community Council's mission is 'People
Helping People' and we provide that in as many ways as
we can. We have staff and volunteers who are interested
in the welfare of all of Needham's citizens, youth and
older adults alike. Sometimes it is easier to talk to someone
you are working alongside or who you see on a volunteer
assignment. If there is ever anything worrisome on your
mind, or if you feel low, please talk to one of us and
we will listen and help you access other services if you

"The Needham Health Department is here to improve
the public health and social well being of all Needham
citizens. We can help with information, counseling and
referral to local agencies when necessary” |

"Asking for help can be difficult, and the well trained staff
of the Needham Youth Commission is skilled at assisting youth
and parents to access support. We provide a range of services
for those who are struggling with depression/suicide including
free counseling, information and publications regarding this
issue, prevention strategies/services, and support for both
parents and youth as they grapple with stressful situations." |
The Needham Council on Aging
Our trained staff is available to offer support and counseling
to individuals and families throughout the community. We
can also provide information and help you access a variety
of services. If you are feeling depressed, anxious, stressed
or just need to talk we are here and we can offer help.
